Junior Theatre Camp
1 week sessions
Ages 4-7
Session 1 – PIRATES! June 18th-22nd, 9:00am – 1:00pm
Session 2A – DRAGONS AND FAIRIES! June 25th- 29th, 9:00am – 1:00pm
Session 2B – AROUND THE WORLD! June 25th- 29th, 1:30pm – 5:30pm
Session 3 – DOGS AND CATS! July 2nd- 6th (no class 7/4), 9:00am-1:00pm
Session 4A – DRAGONS AND FAIRIES! July 23rd- 27th, 9:00am – 1:00pm
Session 4B – ANIMALS! July 23rd- 27th, 1:30pm-5:30pm
Session 5 – THREE LITTLE PIGS! July 30th-August 3rd, 9:00am-1:00pm
Tuition: $250/week (Session 3 $200)
Camps especially for younger performers! Campers will spend four hours a day playing theater games, acting out stories, singing, dancing, moving and crafting. A perfect starter camp for the young performer who can’t wait to hit the stage! Friday’s session will conclude with a short performance of their favorite story of the week, by the campers, performed in the classroom.
Sleeping Beauty KIDS
June 18th-30th – 2 Week Production Camp
TIME: Monday-Friday 9:30-3:30 (+Friday night and Saturday June 29th-30th)
AGES: 5-10
Performances June 29th and 30th (times TBA)
Tuition: $600
Campers will spend two weeks rehearsing and preparing for a full production. They will help create posters and programs, work with choreographers and vocal coaches, and be immersed in the world of theater.
Based on one of the most treasured Disney animated films of all time, and featuring some of the world’s most memorable songs, Disney’s Sleeping Beauty KIDS is pure, delightful fun!
Jungle Book KIDS
July 9th-21st – 2 Week Production Camp

The jungle is jumpin’ with a jazzy beat in Disney’s The Jungle Book KIDS. Specially adapted from the classic Disney animated film, Disney’s The Jungle Book KIDS features a host of colorful characters and your favorite songs from the movie.

Dear Edwina JR. follows the adventures of plucky advice-giver-extraordinaire, Edwina Spoonapple, as she directs the neighborhood kids in a series of buoyant production numbers for the latest edition of her weekly “Advice-a-Palooza.” Edwina and her friends share wisdom on everything from trying new foods to making new friends through clever, catchy and poignant songs.
ADVANCED SUMMER WORKSHOP
Into The Woods – Teen Company Ages: 12-19, Adult Company: Age-Appropriate Casting
Summer Camp Policies:
1. Campers must be the specified ages to enroll in a camp, or have advance permission from Barb and Katie.
2. Tuition will be paid in full at time of registration. Payment plans are available if necessary, contact Tanessa (Tanessa27@gmail.com) Limited scholarships are available.
3. Due to students with severe nut allergies, Playful People Productions is a NUT FREE company. We require that peanut and tree nut free snacks and lunches be sent to camp.
4. Children will be sent home, as necessary, to protect the physical and emotional safety of campers and camp counselors. Inappropriate behavior at camp may result in immediate dismissal with no tuition refund. We reserve the right to determine what constitutes inappropriate behavior.
5. Camps are hands-on and can get messy! Please always send campers with a change of clothes, closed toed shoes, and a lunch/snack. Playful People Productions does NOT provide lunch or snacks. Campers need to bring refillable, non-glass water bottles.
6. Refunds: Playful People Productions refund policy for cast members who withdraw from a production is as follows: from registration to 2 weeks prior to camp start, a full refund minus a $50.00 administrative fee is given. Between two weeks prior to camp start to first day of camp, a 50% refund will be given. No refunds will be given after the camp starts.
7. By registering for this production, each cast member and their legal guardian(s) consents to the use of cast member’s likeness in photographs or video taken by/for Playful People Productions for advertising and other promotional purposes without payment or further release.
8. Playful People cannot provide after camp care. We will charge $1 per minute after camp that the actors are late being picked up.
