Masterclass in Musical Theater Dance
Ages 12+
This Masterclass in Musical Theatre Dance session of classes, taught by The T, will explore topics such as rhythm and musicality, energy, floor barre, standing barre, dance and acting integration, dance and singing integration, dance audition technique, and rehearsal technique.
This is a two week session of classes, occurring daily Monday-Friday from 7:00-9:30pm (NO class on Saturday or Sunday). Participants should come prepared with water, a towel, jazz or character shoes, a notebook and pencil. If available, a yoga mat is also suggested.
About the instructor
T Saffold (The T), incoming director of PPP’s fall 2023 Masterclass production (TBA soon!), is a teaching artist who has also performed with PPP as Donkey in the Family Cast of Shrek the Musical. T’s experience includes working as an actor, director, dramaturg, lyricist, and educator with over a dozen Bay Area and international theater companies.
