Starts on February 5th

Join our newly established Taiko Drum group, which started at Playful People in the summer of 2021! Rome Hamner, with South Bay Beat Institute, teaches the art of Japanese drumming – TAIKO, while also teaching the history of taiko (with an emphasis on local Taiko history).

Space is limited! This wonderfully energetic and musically inspiring taiko drum group can accommodate only 14 students.

Ages:  10+
Note: Our contract with South Bay Beat Institute requires that ALL participants are fully vaccinated.

Classes are every 1st and 3rd Saturday from 3:30-5:00, starting February 5th.
Dates:  February 5th and 19th, March 5th and 19th, April 2nd and 16th.
