Join Maureen for a fun week of Pirates and Mermaid Theater. We will read “Look Out for Pirates” and  “Grandma and the Pirates”. We’ll hunt for Pirates together as we explore a Where’s Waldo style book, “Help! The Pirate Has Lost His Shipmates!”  We’ll make pirate hats and swords and eye patches and parrot puppets. We’ll learn a pirate song and pretend to sail on a pirate ship. We’ll make maps and flags and daisies. We’ll make noodle pudding and have a great time telling each other a story from our own homes.  Then we’ll imagine going to the sea to capture a mermaid. We’ll read “How to Catch a Mermaid” and make mirrors, crowns, pearls and other treasures. We’ll even make our own mermaid tail!  If the sea is calling your name, come join us for a sea adventure!

Online Junior Theater Camps

Our popular theater camp for younger players is taking it online!  Each week will have a theme based on a children’s book, with themed activities, crafts, and projects!  Classes will be LIVE for one hour a day over zoom, and kids will play games, tell stories, do crafts, and explore the week’s story (the Camp Crate will include the week’s book, as well as all of the materials needed for daily activities and crafts!).
