These excellent training camps will cover various areas of production, and will develop student’s “behind-the-scenes” theater skills, preparing them for future internships with Playful People Productions, and building a well rounded understanding of all aspects of theater. For students who don’t care to be on stage, or who want to be more involved in the creation and design of productions, these training camps are like nothing else offered in the Bay Area. Students who complete these training camps will have the opportunity to apply for internships during our 2022-2023 mainstage season, and may eventually be hired as student/junior staff, which are paid positions. These training camps compliment our summer performance camps, and will work directly on projects that will be used for those performances.
Each intern’s tuition will be partially underwritten by a grant from the office of Santa Clara County District 4 Supervisor Susan Ellenberg.
